Like many others, Horacio Reyes Paez has sought refuge in poetry in this terrible year, a visual poetry that nourishes the spirit, heals and gives strength. In the video, a young girl (the very young Olivia Lasalvia) dances on the shore of the Uruguayan sea, the sea of the geographical “end of the world”, to a text by Stainer that speaks of the affirmation of the self in existence. A declaration that, whatever happens, “this is the time we are given to live” (Tolkien).

Reyes Paez, the director of this film is also the composer and performer of the musical piece for guitar which Olivia Lasalvia dances.
